توقف حوافز صندوق تنمية التراث يهدد الأنشطة الثقافية والمبدعون يطالبون بالإنصاف

A number of creative individuals appealed to the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, to intervene urgently to release their outstanding financial dues from the Heritage Development Fund, which they said have been suspended for several months without any explanation of the reasons, despite the revenues that the Fund generates from companies.

The creators explained that the fund's management stopped the monthly incentives they used to receive regularly, in addition to stopping support for cultural activities and events, which negatively affected the cultural and creative movement.

They called on the governor of the interim capital, Aden, to intervene to address the issue and do justice to the creators, stressing that the continued suspension of dues threatens the continuation of many cultural activities and initiatives.

The creators also called for the formation of an independent committee to review the revenues of the Heritage Development Fund and its disbursement mechanism, and to verify the aspects of spending since the Fund moved from Sana'a to the temporary capital, Aden, until today, in order to promote the principles of transparency, preserve public funds, and guarantee the rights of creators.
