Today, the police of Mayfa’a district referred two defendants in a drug use case to the Public Prosecution after completing all the necessary legal procedures against them.

The police of the Mayfa’a Directorate submitted the case file of the first defendant, named (E. D. A. A.), and the second defendant, named (Kh. A. A. M.), and transferred them to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigations and face fair judicial procedures.

This step comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the security services of the Shabwa Governorate Police to combat the phenomenon of drug proliferation and to apprehend users and dealers in order to protect society from the dangers of this destructive scourge.
