On Monday, the Humanitarian Action Cell launched the distribution of integrated food baskets in the Bab al-Mandab district, located west of Taiz Governorate, under the generous patronage of the Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh, and with generous support from the Joint Forces Command and under the direct supervision of the advanced Saudi operational base in Mocha.

This humanitarian project targets thousands of families from the most needy groups in society, including orphans, people with disabilities, and the poorest families in various areas and villages of the Bab al-Mandab district, within a comprehensive relief program aimed at improving living conditions and alleviating the suffering of citizens in the western coastal areas.

The aid provided includes food baskets containing essential basic goods, as part of the urgent response efforts to the growing humanitarian needs in this region as a result of the current circumstances.

In the same context, the distribution of humanitarian aid continues successfully in Al-Wazi’iyah district in Taiz governorate and Al-Khokha district in Al-Hudaydah governorate, within a well-thought-out field plan aimed at expanding the scope of beneficiaries from needy and affected families in various districts and areas of the liberated western coast.
