Security forces in Al-Mahra Governorate arrested an Arab national after finding a quantity of hashish resin in his possession, as part of their ongoing and tireless efforts to combat the spread of drugs, enhance internal security and stability, and firmly apply the law to everyone.

The Criminal Investigation Department in the governorate explained that the successful arrest came after intensive investigations and accurate field monitoring that resulted in accurately identifying the location of the accused and arresting him in the act with the seized quantity in his possession, confirming that all necessary legal procedures have been completed in preparation for referring him to the competent judicial authorities to complete the investigation and accountability.

The administration confirmed that the qualitative operation was carried out under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation in Al-Mahra Governorate, Captain Muslim Al-Qumairi, within the comprehensive security plan aimed at pursuing drug dealers and traffickers and reducing the spread of poisons, which directly contributes to protecting society and maintaining public peace and the security of citizens.

The security services renewed their sincere call to all citizens to cooperate continuously with the competent security authorities and to immediately report any suspicious activities related to the promotion or trafficking of drugs, stressing the continuation of their intensive security campaigns and the taking of deterrent legal measures against anyone who threatens the security and stability of the governorate.
